Take Me Home - GIVE AWAY

In the spirit of all things lovely and nice in the crafty blogosphere here is my first give away. She's a simple tote bag made with a soft red stripped stretchy denim. Inside is lined with a crisp white cotton. The front of the bag features a pocket made from Kokka's Doll fabric. There is a small magnetic clasp in the facing at the top.

I will be drawing a winner randomly on the 23rd of October 2008. All you have to do to be eligible for the draw is to leave a comment about what made you smile today - hopefully something you are grateful for. Please make sure I can contact you through a link when you comment just in case the winner is you.

Ok what made me smile today was a crazy dog I saw when I went to pick up my groceries. He was having a lovely roll in something that was probably very smelly while the poor girl walking him was trying in vain to pull him away. I was grateful that I have one dog who is to lazy to go for a walk and another who is to manic to take out in public because I am sure one of them would of done exactly the same to me.

Your bag made me smile! It's gorgeous.

I also smiled because the cutest little elderly woman wandered into the Bondi Sewing Centre looking for a vintage black Singer machine. She wasn't sure she could use a new one. She was so sweet.

What a love bag - I love the Kokka Doll fabric.

What made me smile? I guess the email from my extremely upset daughter in Sydney, who picked up their three year old from day care only to discover when she took her hat off that she had given herself an edgy haircut - above the year on one side and half the fringe lopped off. I gently told my daughter that I had done the same thing when I was a little girl, and could not understand why my mother was so upset.

The bag is lovely! It definitely made me smile. My dog Gem and my cat Miss Muffet made me smile. Being woken up with a puppy in the face might not be everyone's idea of delight, but I think it's one of the best ways to be woken up. You have probably already seen Gem and Muffet - but if you haven't - www.papillon-gem.com and www.miss-muffet.org Hope you enjoy them!

awesome giveaway my dear!!! The first thing to make me really smile today was playing ghosts under a sheet with my 2 kiddilinks...we all jumped under and went whoooooo!!! lol

Have a great day

Oh what a gorgeous bag! That babushka doll fabric goes so well with the red denim!!! Well the first thing that made me smile today was my daughter snuggling up next to me and giving me a kiss on the cheek, then saying "mmmm...nice". And the second thing was my husband's excitement when I said I would cook something for dinner tonight (he usually cooks our evening meals, and is a bit of a foodie). I found a yummy sounding recipe in the latest Donna Hay mag for chickpea patties, and we are going to have them with homemade tabouli, homemade tzatziki, flatbread and lemon wedges.....yum! I'm very grateful that we can spend all day looking forward to sitting down to a yummy meal at the end of the day. Thanks for reminding me to be grateful for the good stuff :)

What made me smile? What am I grateful for today...?

Going in the twins room when they had woken up from a sleep this afternoon to find them pointing and giggling at each other. That definiately made me smile and I am very grateful that they have such a wonderful, close relationship!

Adorable bag! I want I want I want!

What made me smile today was seeing somebody else smile & laugh who doesn't have a lot to smile & laugh about right now. The laughter was at my expense because I fell on my butt while attempting to play soccer on the beach at Redcliffe today. And my butt landed on top of a washed up jellyfish. Mmmmm....squishy... Anyways, made her smile, made me smile :)

Winning your bag will make me smile for a week! What made me smile today was remembering that my dearest friend who has been away for 3 weeks will be back tomorrow. Yay!!!!

Hey there,
what a gorgeous bad...
hmm what has made me smile today, firstly when I walked down stairs in a new floral print dress I got, my little man gave me the biggest grin and then tried to "sniff" the flowers, and secondly watching him eat his rice bubbles japanese style (he slurps all the milk at the end) too cute.

Oh how I wish to take this home!

It's only 8:34am so this is going to be tricky, I'm not a morning person at all lol

What has made me smile this morning is my 18month old saying "up down" when I asked him how much he loves me. His interpretation of "up to the sky and back again"

Thanks for making me smile!
That is a lovely bag - love the doll fabric!
Something that made me smile today was filling up my car with petrol and only paying 44c for it!! (yes, 44c, not $44!!) The poor boy at the register stuffed it up and his boss couldn't fix it, so I got it for 44c!!! I smiled all the way home :)

Hi, what a lovely, classy giveaway you're running!

Lots of things made me smile today. My dog is frightened of the cat on the corner - that's usually hilarious. And I like the very cheerful old Italian guy down the street, he always wants to chat, and that makes me smile. And now my boy and my dog are both asleep on the sofa - sshh, that makes me smile, too.

Love that bag!!

I smiled just now when I finished all my ironing. I mean, ALL of it. That's the first time in months (no lie!!). Am so proud of myself. Though I think I could have been doing better things on a Saturday night...

My little boy made me smile today, and every day! He has one-word names to request his story-books, and there's one called "who sank the boat?" which he now refers to as "Splash!".

Oh what made me smile today was being out in the beautiful weather walking around the seaside and looking at the saphire water blend into turquoise blue and to top it all off there were lots of beautiful, whimisical and humorous sculptures to look at along the way.

What a cute bag!! Love love the fabric used =)
What made me smile today? Answer: the sunny weather! It meant that I could hop from one stall to another at the Farmer's Market with a cupcake in my hand, rather than an umbrella!

Hi Therese , you made me smile with your gorgeous bag givaway! What made me smile also was getting home after four days away attending to the handmade expo, to find in the mail that I have successfully finished my RPL (recognition of prior learning) for my cert.IV in Business. YEAH I'm still smiling!!!

The bag is amazing! I smiled yesterday at the look on my 13 month old's face when she had her first fresh strawberry straight off the plant (instead of out of the punnet). It must have been a flavour explosion!

what made me smile today was watching my daughter, who is learning to ride her bike without training wheels-ride down the driveway without falling. She's been frustrated these past few days, so to see her accomplish this was wonderful.

The thing that made me smile today is that I downloaded my latest photos from my camera and I have my first family photo with my new baby son Alasdair, his brother Louis-Gabriel and my gorgeous French hubby. My son is now 3 months old and for the first few months all he did was frown so to actually see him smile was a great relief.
Victoria
PS, love your bag! I am in Paris now but will be home for Christmas to pick it up should I win( fingers crossed)

My smelly hound made me smile (he does every day). When I pulled into the driveawy he was in the back yard, it's fenced in, he stuck as much of his face through the railings of the back deck and gave me a big kiss as I walked by.
Uncondiitonal love always makes me smile.

Love the bag and the Russian Doll theme. I just love babushka dolls.
Hmmm, what made me smile today? My little Miss Am is 19 months old, she let out a huge burp at the dinner table followed by a sweet little 'ehhwooze me' (translation 'excuse me').
Another thing that made me smile was reading Hey Harriet's 'what made me smile' comment. I can't say I've every seen a soccer player sit on a jelly fish during a game. I hope someone had their camera :)

What a beautiful bag!

What made me smile today, was the baby in my tummy doing what feels like somersaults. For some reason he or she is extra active today, and it's had me giggling like a little girl! :-)
